La Librería

La Librería (The Bookshop), run by CAAM, is not based at CAAM itself, but some five minutes away. It is the only bookshop in the world specialising in the Canary Islands, with a wide range of local authors and special interest titles. It holds over 5.000 volumes, and stocks documents in different media: books, maps, CD-roms, DVDs, CDs etc, on just about anything relating to the Canary Islands.

It also has a very well stocked fiction section, offering works by Canarian authors and a special section devoted to the writings of Benito Pérez Galdós.

Monday to Friday: 9:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 20:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
